![]() ![]() Konfucjanizm dotarł do Korei z Chin ze względu na bliskość geograficzną oraz wpływy kulturowe i został przyjęty jako atrakcyjna myśl polityczna. Przybliżając podstawowe informacje na temat konfucjanizmu, królestwa Joseon oraz myśli prawniczej w reprezentatywnym okresie (1392–1485), autor skupił się na czterech głównych zagadnieniach: wprowadzeniu konfucjanizmu do Korei powodach, z jakich władcy Joseon opierali się na konfucjanizmie wpływie światopoglądu konfucjańskiego na myśl prawną oraz skutkach przyjęcia konfucjanizmu jako najważniejszej ideologii państwa koreańskiego. Chiny miały znaczący wpływ na kształtowanie się instytucji politycznych w królestwie Joseon oraz pozostały źródłem dominującej ideologii, nawet jeśli w pewnym stopniu nastąpiła jej indygenizacja. Królestwo Joseon, założone pod koniec XIV wieku przez monarchów z dynastii Yi, było głęboko skonfucjanizowane, co znalazło odzwierciedlenie w przyjętym modelu społeczeństwa, administracji i prawa. In the article the author tried to answer the following questions: how was the Confucianism established in Korea? Why did Joseon rulers rely on it? How Joseon legal thought reflected Confucian worldview? What were the results of it for Korea? The 16th century (generally speaking) can be regarded as the period of great development of Korean Confucian thought by its most renowned sages – Yi Hwang (Toegye) and Yi I (Yulgok)9, but the biggest change in favor of Confucianism occurred during the age specified as the initial period of Yi dynasty. King Seongjong (1469–1494) managed to compile the State Code started by his predecessors, thus consolidating Joseon’s Confucian form of law and government and for this reason the paper is limited to year 1485. First century of Joseon was the period when Confucianism clearly achieved domination over the nation’s political ideology, which was reflected in the legal and jurisprudential aspects as well. Author chose 93 years period from the beginning of the Joseon Kingdom under Yi dynasty rule (1392) until the enactment of the State Code (Gyeonggukdaejeon) by its ninth king – Seongjong (1485) as the time frame for the paper. The topic of the article is also related to the subject of Chinese cultural influence on Korea in broader sense. The topic of Confucian influence on the Korean legal thought is not entirely new, but given its significant importance in understanding Korean history, it is still worth recalling. This process resulted in the opinion of polish society that their military forces should join the conflict in order to protect their freedom and safety.This article is the fruit of author’s interest in the Korean history and culture. Regarding the increasing of fear and misleading public opinion the Polish media did not react differently than the American. To prove this distortion a survey was made showing an accordance to the given information with different newspapers, radio and TV stations. Instead, the society is overwhelmed with information so the risk shows, that the necessary news get partially lost. The second part focused on the supposed role of media to inform and prepare the people for conflicts. The article focuses on the influence of media during conflicts and how the public opinion and military actions influence one another. The overwhelming forces of media are illustrated on the examples of the American conflict with Iraq from 2003 to 2010 starting with the World Trade Centre Attack and ending with the opinion of the polish audience concerning the American-Iraqi conflict. Its original role of a bearer of truth, accurate information and its role, nowadays, used mainly to manipulate the audience to achieve a specific reaction. Abstract : The Article reflects on the influence and distortion of mass media in modern days.
